Overview

Provision the Azure VM (Ubuntu) and set up Docker + Docker Compose as the hosting foundation for all ROLAC services.

Tasks

  • Provision Azure VM using Microsoft Nonprofit credits ($2,000)
  • Install Docker + Docker Compose on Ubuntu
  • Configure Nginx as reverse proxy with SSL termination
  • Set up Let's Encrypt + Certbot for auto-renewing SSL
  • Create Docker Compose skeleton for all services (API, Angular, PostgreSQL, Gitea, Jenkins)
